Like many flooring products there have been huge advances in
vinyl flooring in recent years. Current vinyl flooring will
often replicate authentic designs from wood flooring, ceramic
tiles, natural stones and even slate.
Vinyl flooring is a flexible, practical and hardwearing floor
covering that is easy to care for, simple to clean and can be very
cost effective. As such it makes a great choice for areas for
many New Zealand kitchens, bathrooms, toilets and laundries.
There are even slip resistant vinyl ranges to help prevent slips
and falls, giving greater safety particularly for the elderly or
for wet areas.
Vinyl is available either in sheets that are 2, 3 or 4m wide or
more recently in individual planks or tiles to very realistically
imitate wood or ceramic or stone flooring.
